Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, seeks a Supplier Development Lead to train and coach suppliers toward platinum performance. The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, lean manufacturing, and capacity planning, with on-site work predominantly in the Los Angeles area and occasional remote work from a home office.

You will collaborate with PW engineering, purchasing, and supplier leadership to accelerate improvements, reduce risks, and build long-term relationships through structured problem-solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, advanced degree with 5+ years’ related work or 8+ years with bachelor’s degree.
• U.S. citizen or permitting status required for access to sensitive systems.
• Location-based requirement: reside in Los Angeles, CA area or willing to relocate/commute to LA area.

Responsibilities

• On-site at supplier locations in the Los Angeles area most of the time.
• Perform supplier capability assessments and develop action plans to close gaps to gold level performance.
• Lead and coach teams on root-cause analysis, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
