Job summary

RTX is seeking a Supplier Development Lead for the Pratt & Whitney Midwest Regional Office. The role focuses on driving supplier performance through on-site assessments, root-cause resolution, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure on-time delivery and quality. The position requires extensive travel (up to 80%) within the Midwest, USA, with remote work options.

U.S. citizenship is required; a Bachelor's in a related field and 10 years of experience are expected, with advanced degrees

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 10 years of experience in Operations, Quality, or continuous Improvement, or advanced degree with 7 years experience.
• U.S. Citizen required to access information under this contract.

Responsibilities

• Drive on-site supplier assessments to improve delivery and quality.
• Develop and drive quality improvement plans with root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve supplier issues and ensure ramp-up readiness.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions.
• Engage senior supplier management to initiate major improvement programs.
• Plan, organize and report on supplier performance metrics.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Supply chain, Business Management, or related field
