Job summary

RTX is seeking a Remote Supplier Development Lead based in the Los Angeles area to coach and train suppliers toward platinum performance. You will travel to suppliers, lead root-cause analysis, and drive lean manufacturing improvements while maintaining strong communications with PW supply chain teams.

The role focuses on training, capacity planning, and developing long-term supplier relationships to reduce risks and unlock growth opportunities in the LA region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 8+ years experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access necessary systems.
• Residence in the Los Angeles, CA area.

Responsibilities

• On-site at supplier 80% of time in the Los Angeles area, 20% from home.
• Perform assessments of supplier capability via SHA.
• Develop action plans (SCIP) to close gaps to gold level performance.
• Track SCIP and drive closure to reach gold level.
