Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan is offering a supply chain internship opportunity in the United States. The role supports system implementation, data enrichment, and reporting while gaining hands‑on experience across North America sites.

The program welcomes students or recent graduates in supply chain or logistics, with strong communication, safety awareness, and vendor research skills. Remote work is available from many states, with in‑person collaboration hubs as needed.

Qualifications

• Enrolled full‑time at an accredited university pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, logistics, or related field.
• Recent graduate within 12 months with a degree in Supply Chain, logistics, or related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Knowledge of purchasing rules, inventory control systems, and accounts payable processes.
• Ability to research and gather information related to vendors, contracts, equipment and supplies.
• Ability to use computer databases to research, maintain and update records.

Responsibilities

• Participates in system implementation/business process projects.
• Contributes to reporting, analytical, and data enrichment activities.
• Reviews inventory data within Inventory Planning System.
• Creates analyses on market trends and supports bid activities.
• Prepares system and business process training documentation.
• Assists with training and rollout activities.
• Performs other duties as required.
