Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Grad Intern - Operations - Engineering for Summer 2027. This 13-week program offers hands-on project experience across Engineering Tech Authority, Global Capital Project Management, and Project Controls, with exposure to data, automation, and AI-enabled tools.

You will work remotely or on-site at Thousand Oaks, CA, collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams, and help prepare business cases and performance improvements for capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Enrollment in MBA/Masters/PharmD/PhD program for an internship.
• Must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Lead or independently drive a defined project workstream.
• Analyze feasibility, lifecycle costs, risks, and benefits for capital-project decisions.
• Develop digital or AI-enabled tools and dashboards for engineering workflows.
• Prepare and present project updates to Engineering leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
