Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Suicide Prevention Coordinator (SPC) to support suicide prevention programming, reporting, and initiatives for active-duty members assigned to Special Operations Forces (SOF).

The SPC serves as a licensed clinical social work professional and subject matter expert responsible for coordinating prevention and postvention efforts, supporting component-level policies and procedures, and promoting evidence-based practices that strengthen resilience, protective factors, and system

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or relevant experience.
• MSW or equivalent like MSSW/MSSA from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Current LCSW or LMSW license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team and ensure adequate staff coverage.
• Serve as subject matter expert for identified program area.
• Ensure team meets contract and SLA requirements.
• Identify opportunities for improvement with contract management and shared services.
• May attend client and stakeholder meetings.
• Provide clinical supervision of unlicensed providers or trainees as applicable.
