Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Suicide Prevention Coordinator (SPC) to support suicide prevention programming, reporting, and initiatives for active-duty members assigned to Special Operations Forces (SOF). The SPC is a licensed clinical social work professional coordinating prevention, postvention, and resilience-building efforts for SOCOM directives.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, an active Secret clearance or eligibility, and may involve clinical responsibilities within the gaining unit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
• MSW or equivalent degree fully accredited by CSWE.
• Active LCSW or LMSW license in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team to maintain high performance and adequate staffing.
• Serve as SME for suicide prevention policy, programming, and practices.
• Provide clinical supervision and, when assigned, direct clinical care.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and reporting timelines.
• Attend meetings with clients, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
