Job summary

ICF Power Delivery Services seeks a Substation Protection & Control Engineer for remote US work. You will design protective schemes, substation relays, and SCADA diagrams, collaborating with multiple teams to ensure accurate, code-compliant deliverables.

Qualifications include a BS in Engineering (Electrical/Computer), 2+ years in protection and controls, and EIT/PE is a plus. Expect engagement with clients, site data collection, and QA/QC-driven design processes.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, preferably electrical or computer engineering.
• 2+ years of protection and controls experience.
• Desire to pursue PE license and EIT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and preparation of Protective Schemes.
• Substation Relay design and protection.
• Creation of One Lines and Three Lines AC/DC Schematics.
• Substation Panel Layouts and Wiring Diagrams.
• DC/AC Systems Calculations.
• Development of Equipment Specification and BOMs.
• Coordinate with disciplines to ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in client meetings and site visits for data gathering.
• Apply client standards to the deliverables.
• Provide field support during construction.
• Ensure QA/QC processes on all design packages.
• Support continuous professional knowledge growth.
