Job summary

ICF is seeking a Substation P&C Designer to work on relay and protection and control projects on high voltage substations at voltages from 12kV to 500kV under the direction of the Electrical Project Lead.

Qualifications

• AA or high school diploma required.
• 3+ years of detailed wiring design experience with single lines, schematics and relay panels.
• 3+ years of experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Inventor and MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare Protection and Control Drawings including 1- and 3-line diagrams.
• Create AC/DC schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams and cable schedules.
• Develop SCADA and communication diagrams and point-to-point wiring diagrams.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure quality deliverables.
• Incorporate vendor information and apply client standards to designs.
• Support QA/QC processes and pursue continuous engineering improvement.
