Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch company, seeks an experienced Substation Assistant Project Manager to lead electrical substation projects from design through completion. You will coordinate engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure on-time, within-budget execution while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

Experience with electrical substation projects and construction practices.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of industry standards (NESC, NEC, IEEE, ANSI).

Responsibilities

Oversee all phases of electrical substation projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget completion.
Manage and oversee project design, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to meet project requirements.
Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality control checks during execution.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
Communicate project updates and risks to senior management and clients.
Manage procurement of materials and equipment for substation construction.
Oversee contractor performance and adherence to specifications.
Resolve technical and logistical challenges during project execution.
Document and report progress, including financial tracking and closeout.
