Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Subsidy Tuition Coordinator to support centers with child care assistance programs and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local agencies. You will coordinate contracts, authorizations, reimbursements, and billing, while delivering exemplary service to field operations and government partners.

This frontline role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and timely communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Bookkeeping, billing, and accounts receivable experience preferred.
• Strong 10-key proficiency and digital literacy with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Align to subsidy tuition strategy and goals, and respond to changes.
• Acquire agency contracts and review agency requirements.
• Process authorizations and secure reimbursements with centers and agencies.
• Manage accounts receivable transfers and discounts; report weekly details.
• Review attendance and bill according to agency guidelines.
• Reconcile payments and handle AR adjustments; address re-bill/refunds.
• Follow up on receivables and prepay balances until resolved.
• Prepare and distribute reports; monitor for anomalies and escalate.
• Audit and reconcile center financial records and adjust as needed.
• Maintain subsidy records per guidelines and policies.
• Build relationships with internal and external partners; participate in meetings.
• Prepare audits and notify of agency audits; own assigned centers.
• Work overtime when needed; multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
