Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp is seeking a Subcontracts Specialist to manage the complete subcontract buyout lifecycle from RFP to execution. The role focuses on sourcing qualified subcontractors, evaluating bids, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, cost-effective subcontracting for solar and BESS EPC projects in the U.S.

The position is remote with standard hours, based in Houston, TX, and may require up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction contracts/subcontracts management or procurement.
• Senior Specialist level requires 4–6 years in procurement/subcontracts management.
• Experience in solar and/or construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer the RFP process with limited direction.
• Prepare bid lists and solicitations to qualified subcontractors.
• Coordinate bid schedules and respond to RFIs.
• Review proposals and prepare commercial bid evaluations for team review.
• Negotiate contracts and execute subcontract agreements with guidance from legal.
• Maintain subcontract formation and pre-qualifications; update ERP and pricing databases.
• Ensure records retention and compliance with company procedures.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
