Job summary

Virtual Preparatory Academy of Florida is seeking a Student Success Coach to manage onboarding, core interventions, and support services for assigned students in line with Student Services initiatives. You will be the primary contact for new students and families, ensuring a strong start to the school year and ongoing engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, social services, or related field.
• Prior experience as a teacher tutor, counselor, or mentor to youth is preferred.
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks is required.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding and completion of required tasks for new and returning students and families.
• Maintain weekly open office hours to assist newcomers and families.
• Make welcome calls in coordination with homeroom teachers.
• Identify issues and coordinate with other departments for prompt resolutions.
• Participate in admissions counseling: review transcripts and assist with course selection.
• Serve as primary contact for school administration on attendance, academic, and behavioral goals.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to evaluate progress and plan objectives.
• Conduct conferences with parents and students as needed.
• Maintain documentation of student performance and progress.
