Job summary

University Annual Giving & Stewardship in the Office of Engagement at the University of Virginia is seeking a work-study student employee for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters. The role is remote with periodic in-person collaboration and reports to the Assistant Director, Direct Marketing.

Rate of pay is $19.50/hour, up to 20 hours per week. Eligibility requires federal work-study, and current UVA student status.

Responsibilities

• This student will assist with a variety of direct marketing tasks including data proofing, review and execution of text messages and emails, and initiate communications with vendors.
• Duties will include research for and assistance with marketing campaigns, and maintenance of the Advancement Community Marketing Calendar (ACMC).
• This role supports the Direct Marketing team in University Annual Giving & Stewardship in the Office of Engagement.
• Other similar tasks may be assigned within University Annual Giving & Stewardship.
