Job summary

The University Annual Giving & Stewardship, in the Office of Engagement, is seeking applications for a work-study student employee. The role focuses on direct marketing tasks, including data proofing, review/execution of texts and emails, and calendar maintenance.

You will assist the Direct Marketing team and may perform related duties, with NDA confidentiality required. This position is remote for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027, reporting to the Assistant Director, Direct Marketing.

• Education: Current UVA student.
• Federal work-study eligibility required.
• Experience: None.
• Licensure: None.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct marketing responsibilities including data proofing and review/execution of text messages and emails.
• Initiate communications with vendors and support marketing campaigns.
• Maintain the Advancement Community Marketing Calendar (ACMC).
• Support the Direct Marketing team and perform similar tasks as assigned.
• Sign an NDA and maintain confidentiality.
