Job summary

Remington College seeks a Financial Aid Advisor to assist students applying for enrollment and to explain financing options for their education. You will guide students through federal aid processes, determine aid eligibility, and help assemble required documentation.

On-site work is typically required, with remote work permitted when on-site duties are not needed, subject to HR policy. Strong MS Office and LMS experience are valued, and prior federal aid experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of federal student financial aid experience.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Learning Management System (LMS) software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to company policies and accreditation standards.
• Assists students with financial aid applications and financing options.
• Asks questions to determine eligibility for financial aid.
• Responds to student inquiries about financial aid.
• Assists with preparation and completion of financial aid applications.
• Follows up to ensure timely completion of applications and documentation.
• Reviews estimated award letters with students.
• Assists with final submission or packaging for financial aid each term.
• Maintains professional relationships with Company personnel.
• Performs on-site work when required; remote work possible when on-site is not required.
