Georgetown University is seeking a Parent and Student Services Advisor to provide frontline support for students and families, addressing admissions, academic processes, student life and campus services, while embodying Georgetown’s brand and commitment to service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 1–3 years of customer service in a higher education setting.
• Knowledge of the student lifecycle and student information systems is helpful, not required.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the first point of contact for student/family inquiries and issues.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring students and their families receive timely and accurate information and assistance.
• Serve as a liaison for parents/students and elevate issues as necessary to the leadership team.
• Manage and maintain effective communication with students' families via phone and email.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative staff to address and communicate important updates or changes.
• Monitor course waitlists and serve as a point of contact for registration updates.
• Oversee the timely and accurate completion of all required forms by students.
• Communicate with campus health and safety partners to ensure compliance, especially for residential students.
• Collaborating with other university departments on special projects and initiatives related to Summer Programs.
• Working with the Marketing Team to edit and update the Summer website.
• Providing Support for the Summer Team during outreach webinars
