Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist to provide clinical and sales support for Structural Heart products within a defined region. You will train interventional cardiologists, cath lab staff, and ancillary personnel on device usage and provide technical support during procedures.

You will communicate product and clinical data to internal teams and support marketing strategies, with up to 50% travel to engage with healthcare providers and improve patient care.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of cardiovascular work experience; 3+ years structural heart or electrophysiology clinical experience.
• Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, including vaccination for COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Territory Managers to provide case coverage and clinical outcomes for patients.
• Serve as primary resource for clinical support in surgical coverage, troubleshooting and in-service education for product lines.
• Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products; inform customers of latest product developments.
• Engage in clinical, procedural and technical discussions and link data outcomes to messaging.
• Meet with existing and potential clients to identify clinical needs and provide solutions.
• Influence a variety of clinician personalities through strong clinical orientation.

Education

BS/BA or equivalent experience

9+ years cardiovascular work experience; 3+ years Structural Heart or Electrophysiology clinical experience
