Job summary

Tetra Tech's High-Performance Building division is hiring a Mid-Level Structural Engineer for full-time work. The role involves designing structural systems and leading portions of projects across diverse building types, with collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams and field visits.

The candidate should be adept with Rev it, RISA-3D, SAP2000, and Bluebeam, hold an ABET-accredited degree, and have 4+ years in A&E or government contracting. U.S. citizenship and EIT/PE pathway are valued.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor with emphasis on structural engineering.
• EIT certification; eligible to sit for PE within 12 months.
• 4+ years in A&E or government contracting/consulting.
• Proficiency with Revit, RISA-3D, SAP2000, Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Support structural design and analysis under senior staff.
• Lead portions of design work and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications per codes.
• Coordinate with architects and stakeholders during design process.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate drafting; BIM coordination with Revit.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering (ABET-accredited)

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification

Master's Degree (preferred)

LEEP AP Certification (a plus)
