Job summary
Thea Career Inc. is seeking a talented Structural Designer to join our engineering team in the United States.
You will prepare precise calculations, load paths, and construction drawings for residential and commercial building projects, focusing on wood-frame assemblies and reinforced concrete elements. Ideal candidates have a Civil or Structural Engineering degree, 2–5+ years of design experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit, plus structural analysis software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 2 to 5+ years of structural design experience with wood and concrete.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural calculations for gravity, lateral, foundation, and retaining systems.
- Design wood-frame assemblies and reinforced concrete elements.
- Develop detailed structural plans, sections, and framing details using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Coordinate designs with architects and engineers to ensure constructability.
- Ensure compliance with IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, and NDS.
