Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering . Experience: 2 to 5+ years of structural design experience with a proven track record in wood and concrete. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD , Revit, and structural analysis software (e.g., Enercalc , RISA , WoodWorks, or RAM). Licensing: EIT preferred; SE/PE track is a plus. Perform structural calculations for gravity, lateral, foundation, and retaining systems. Design wood-frame assemblies (shear walls, joists, beams) and reinforced concrete elements (foundations, slabs, columns). Develop detailed structural plans , sections, and framing details using AutoCAD and Revit . Coordinate designs with architects, engineers, and project leads to ensure constructability. Ensure strict compliance with building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, and NDS.
