Jobot is seeking a Structural Designer for heavy industrial equipment in Addison, TX. You'll create 3D models, fabrication drawings, and material take-offs for skids, ducting, and structural supports using Autodesk Inventor. You’ll coordinate with engineers and fabrication teams on heavy industrial projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial structural or mechanical design experience.
• Hands-on Autodesk Inventor experience creating 3D assemblies and fabrication-ready drawings.
• Experience designing heavy industrial equipment and ducting systems.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models, fabrication drawings, and material take-offs.
• Design hot exhaust and ducting components with casings and transitions.
• Detail structural members and connections, including welded or bolted joints.
• Develop drawings for review, procurement, and fabrication.
• Coordinate layouts with equipment like SCRs, baghouses, ESPs, dampers.
• Perform geometric and material calculations and revise drawings as needed.
