Job summary

SEH is seeking a Structural/Bridge Engineer to join our Denver-area team with options for remote in Colorado or Arizona. You will support an established bridge design and inspection practice across Colorado and the Western United States, performing analysis, reporting, and field observations.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, PE licensure (Colorado/Arizona preferred), and experience with OpenBridge, RISA, and L-Pile. Travel and collaboration across disciplines are essential.

Qualifications

• PE license required; Colorado and/or Arizona licensure preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis.
• Experience with structural analysis software: Bentley OpenBridge, RISA, L-Pile.
• NCEES record within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of AASHTO LRFD, CDOT/ADOT design criteria.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and related structures.
• Prepare reports including existing structure assessments and feasibility studies.
• Perform bridge and culvert inspections and load ratings.
• Develop calculations and load-rating packages using designated software.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and contractors on projects.
• Visit project sites and observe construction activities and fabrication processes.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals during construction.
• Support multidisciplinary transportation projects with timely communication.
