Job summary

SEH is seeking a Structural/Bridge Engineer to join our growing Structural Practice. The role may be based in Denver or remote within Colorado or Arizona, supporting bridge design and inspection across Colorado and the Western United States.

Responsibilities include analysis, reporting, inspections, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. A PE license and experience with major structural software are preferred; travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in structural engineering.
• PE license required; Colorado and/or Arizona licensure preferred.
• Experience with Bentley OpenBridge, RISA, and L-Pile.
• Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD and CDOT/ADOT design criteria.
• Strong communication and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of transportation structures including bridges.
• Prepare engineering reports and load rating packages.
• Conduct bridge and culvert inspections and load ratings.
• Review shop drawings and submittals during construction.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies and contractors on projects.
