Job summary

SEH is seeking a Horizontal Engineer - Structural / Bridge to support our Denver-area Structural Practice. The role may be based in the Denver office or at a remote work location in Colorado or Arizona, supporting bridge design and inspection projects across Colorado and the Western United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in structural engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Colorado and/or Arizona licensure preferred.
• Experience with Bentley OpenBridge, RISA, and L-Pile.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of transportation structures, including bridges and culverts.
• Prepare engineering reports, feasibility studies, and structure selection reports.
• Conduct bridge and culvert inspections and load ratings.
• Prepare structural calculations and load rating packages using industry software.
• Apply AASHTO LRFD and state design criteria in projects.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and contractors; travel as needed.
