Job summary

Viasat is seeking a Strategy Lead to advise senior leadership from a fully remote capacity. You can work from anywhere in the United States, with West Coast residence in Pacific time and occasional travel.

You’ll blend elite management consulting rigor with hands-on financial modeling to guide strategic decisions, and you’ll start as an individual contributor with a path to leadership. Day-to-day includes strategic advisory, data analysis, storytelling, and creating high-impact presentations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years of professional strategy/consulting experience, ideally at top-tier firms.
• Strong data-driven problem solving and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with strategic frameworks and executive storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Strategic advisory: analyze market shifts and competitor movements to reposition the business.
• Data analysis & pattern recognition: work through large datasets to identify trends for senior executives.
• Synthesis & storytelling: structure complex information into clear, actionable insights.
• Operational execution: build financial models and develop high-stakes presentations.
• Relationship management: engage with senior leaders in a collaborative manner.
• Team development: mentor and eventually lead a team of junior strategists.
