Job summary

Candid is seeking a Head of Strategy & Operations to define and build the next generation of growth. You will own strategy and 0-to-1 execution for new products, businesses, and markets, working across the organization to turn ideas into scalable offerings.

You’ll also lead international expansion, evaluate new markets, and collaborate with Commercial, Product, Clinical, Operations, Finance, and Technology. This is a remote role open to US-based candidates.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in strategy, management consulting, business operations, general management, or related field.
• Track record of taking new products/markets from idea to execution with measurable results.
• Exceptional business judgment and structured problem-solving; quick to understand new markets and models.
• Strong product and commercial instincts; translate customer needs into opportunities.
• Builder mentality: create structure in ambiguous situations and turn ideas into real products.
• Strong financial and analytical skills; evaluate market opportunities, models, unit economics, investments.
• Experience developing and managing strategic partnerships.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing and developing high-performing team members.
• Excellent communication; turn complex problems into clear recommendations.
• Fluency with AI tools and perspectives on AI transforming products and workflows.
• High ownership, curiosity, and bias toward action.
• Comfort in dynamic environments with evolving priorities.
• Experience in healthcare, healthtech, dental, SaaS, marketplaces, or similar ops-heavy business is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own new product strategy and identify opportunities across products, services, and verticals.
• Build new products/verticals from 0 to 1, including strategy, business case, operating model, and GTM.
• Lead international expansion, evaluating markets and entry strategies.
• Partner with Sales and other customer-facing teams to test ideas and scale offerings.
• Drive use of AI and emerging tech to create new capabilities and accelerate initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional execution to turn ideas into launched products and businesses.
