Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist III to drive procurement for data center and power generation projects. This remote contract-to-hire role will transition to on-site at Cherry Creek, Denver, CO, if converted to permanent employment.

Responsibilities include supplier engagement, bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration. Requires 5+ years in procurement, a relevant degree, and strong MS Office skills; experience with Coupa is a plus.

Qualifications

• > Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field; equivalent experience acceptable.
• > 5+ years in direct procurement roles (buyer, capital project procurement, or category manager).
• > Data center or power generation project experience with large infrastructure.
• > Experience redlining contracts and negotiating terms.
• > Proficiency with Excel/Word; familiarity with procurement software (Coupa).

Responsibilities

• Engage suppliers and analyze product/price data for negotiations and vendor term selections.
• Lead bid events (RFIs/RFQs/RFPs) and prepare evaluation summaries for leadership.
• Identify and pre-qualify new suppliers for large capital projects.
• Negotiate and execute various agreements (SOs, MSAs, CPAs, EPCs).
• Redline contracts and draft counter-language; manage contract administration.
• Build strong supplier relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
