Job summary

Duke Health is seeking a Strategic Services Associate (Remote) to lead data analysis, BI development, and performance improvement initiatives within the Patient Revenue Management Organization. The role supports strategic and operational decisions through analytics, dashboards, and executive-ready reporting.

The incumbent will collaborate with Finance, Clinical Analytics, and other data teams, manage projects, and ensure sustained improvements across revenue-cycle processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or health-related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years work experience, incl. 3 years in performance/process improvement.
• Experience leading work teams.
• RHIT/RHIA/CCS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to support strategic, operational, clinical, and financial decision-making.
• Develop dashboards, reports, scorecards, and executive-ready presentations.
• Identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with Finance, Decision Support, Clinical Analytics, and other data teams to validate results.
• Establish baseline performance metrics and develop methodologies to measure impact of improvements.
• Support business cases, opportunity assessments, forecasting, and ROI analyses.
