Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a remote analyst to support revenue cycle and coding processes. You will review charts, ensure accurate CPT/HCPCS documentation, and perform charge capture for various service lines while collaborating with clinical and ancillary departments.

Required credentials include RHIA/RHIT, CCS, CPC/COC or similar, with at least three years in hospital or physician practice coding, revenue cycle, or patient financial services.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in healthcare, business administration, finance, accounting, or related field.
• Knowledge of clinical processes, charge master maintenance, clinical coding (CPT, ICD-10, revenue codes & modifiers).
• Experience in revenue cycle, billing, coding, and/or patient financial services.

Responsibilities

• Verify CPT/HCPCS documentation for patient billing and educate colleagues in accurate service documentation.
• Handle charge capture in Revenue Integrity areas and review charts and notes to validate charges.
• Perform coding functions including CPT and ICD-10 assignment, documentation review and prebill edits (OCE/CCI).
• Provide feedback to Revenue Integrity colleagues and support complex service line coding and audits.
• Educate clinical staff on documentation needs to ensure revenue optimization and integrity.
