Job summary

SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking a Marketing and Proposal Coordinator to join our Midwest Northeast team. This role supports pursuit lifecycle from capture planning to post-submission reviews, partnering with technical staff to win environmental opportunities across the region.

This full-time, salaried position offers remote, hybrid, or office-based work with occasional travel to offices in Central/Eastern time zones to collaborate on deadlines and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; three years of relevant, progressively responsible experience; five years preferred; or any equivalent combination of experience, performance, training, and/or education.
• Experience coordinating or leading proposals, pursuits, or business development efforts in a technical professional services environment.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills to turn input from multiple contributors into client-focused content.
• Strong project management, organization, and attention to detail with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Leads processes or projects within Marketing & Pursuit Resources from start to finish, coordinating pursuits, proposals, and business development efforts.
• Demonstrates strong technical proficiency in pursuits strategy and development.
• Supports leaders in strategy development with market research guidance.
• Delegates tasks to Marketing Specialists with oversight.
• Ensures all marketing activities comply with legal standards and SWCA quality requirements.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to junior staff and new team members.
• Writes non-technical content for pursuits/proposals and marketing materials.
• Follows applicable regulations and standards.
• Performs related work as assigned.
