Placements24 is seeking a Strategic Procurement Manager to lead our procurement function remotely, driving significant cost savings and optimizing supplier performance. You will work closely with senior leadership to align procurement with business objectives in a remote-first environment.

You will manage a remote team, develop sourcing strategies, and oversee major supplier contracts while monitoring market trends and risks globally.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic procurement and category management.
• Experience leading and developing geographically dispersed teams.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement complex sourcing strategies across direct and indirect spend.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to achieve cost reductions and improve supplier value.
• Lead category management initiatives for key spend areas and build long-term partnerships.
• Implement best-in-class procurement processes and technologies for efficiency and compliance.
• Mentor a remote team of procurement professionals and foster high performance.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities in the global supply base.
• Oversee negotiation and administration of major supplier contracts to secure favorable terms.
