Job summary

Placements24 partners with a leader in sustainable energy solutions to recruit a Senior Sourcing Manager for a fully remote role. You will develop global sourcing strategies, lead supplier negotiations, and drive cost and risk improvements across global markets.

In this senior, strategic position, you will manage key supplier relationships, collaborate with engineering and operations, and present insights to senior leadership while upholding ethical sourcing and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 10+ years of progressive sourcing/procurement experience in a senior/strategic role.
• Proven track record in global sourcing and supplier management.
• Strong contract negotiation and risk mitigation skills.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for materials and services.
• Lead complex negotiations with strategic suppliers to optimize price and terms.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers with due diligence.
• Manage relationships with strategic suppliers and monitor SLA performance.
• Drive cost reduction and total cost of ownership improvements.
• Mitigate supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.
• Collaborate with engineering, product development, and operations.
• Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing policies and regulations.
• Prepare and present sourcing reports to senior leadership.
