Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Competitive Intelligence to conduct research and analysis supporting corporate strategy initiatives.

You will manage projects, present findings to all levels of leadership, and help shape strategic decisions on competitors, suppliers, and key topics. The role requires strong analytical ability, leadership skills, and the ability to work with stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, accounting, finance, engineering, economics.
• Master's degree preferred (MBA, accounting, finance, economics).
• Two (2) years or more management consulting, leading corporate strategy, strategic planning and/or strategic initiatives required.
• Seven (7) years or more of professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide robust research and analysis to support Sales & Marketing initiatives and Key Intelligence Topics and Industry Disrupting Trends.
• Communicate with stakeholders across the company to ensure that distributed intelligence provided is actionable and timely.
• Utilize intelligence from primary and secondary research to develop and maintain strategic and operational profiles on key competitors, suppliers, partners and topics.
• Support intelligence distribution activities, including presentations to Ryder’s Leadership Team, webinars, and Board-level documentation.
• Continuously identify and maintain a database of relevant sources of primary and secondary research.
