Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Competitive Intelligence who will perform research and analysis to support corporate strategy, often managing projects with broadly defined objectives and presenting findings to all levels of management.

The role will inform Sales & Marketing initiatives and develop profiles on key competitors and industry trends, distributing intelligence to leadership through presentations, webinars, and board materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Master's degree is preferred (MBA, accounting, finance, economics).
• Two or more years in management consulting, leading corporate strategy or strategic initiatives is required.
• Seven+ years of professional experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide robust research and analysis to support Sales & Marketing initiatives and key intelligence topics.
• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure intelligence is actionable and timely.
• Develop and maintain detailed strategic and operational profiles on key competitors, suppliers, partners, and topics.
• Support intelligence distribution activities, including presentations to Ryder’s Leadership Team, webinars, and Board documentation.
• Continuously identify and maintain a database of primary and secondary research sources.
