Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Manager of Competitive Intelligence to perform research and analysis that informs corporate strategy. You will manage projects and present findings to management, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and other functions to translate insights into actionable plans.

The role requires strong leadership, executive communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while supporting strategic initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, accounting, finance, engineering, economics
• Master's degree preferred (MBA, accounting, finance, economics)
• Two (2) years or more of management consulting, leading corporate strategy, strategic planning and/or strategic initiatives required
• Seven (7) years or more of professional experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide robust research and analysis to support Sales & Marketing initiatives and Key Intelligence Topics and Industry Disrupting Trends
• Communicate with stakeholders across the company to ensure intelligence provided is actionable and timely
• Develop and maintain detailed strategic and operational profiles on key competitors, suppliers, partners and designated topics
• Support intelligence distribution activities, including presentations to Ryder’s Leadership Team, webinars, and Board-level documentation
• Continuously identify and maintain a database of relevant sources of primary and secondary research
