Job summary

Copeland seeks a Strategic Account Manager to drive growth of Vilter refrigeration products across North America. This remote role requires strong account management experience in industrial refrigeration, with a focus on building trusted relationships with end-users, consultants, and contractors.

Ideal candidates are located in California or nearby, willing to travel up to 24 nights per year to Milwaukee. Compensation ranges from $150,000 to $190,000 plus bonus, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of account management in industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Strong negotiation and financial understanding; ability to close opportunities and manage contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop the overall strategic program for the account at all levels of the organization involved.
• Realize sales and margin targets for Vilter heat pumps and refrigeration compression packages in territory.
• Build and grow relationships with customers and partners to encourage a preference for Vilter products and services.
• Maintain up-to-date forecasts, project details, and competitor notes through Salesforce CRM.
• Present projects and attend weekly Opportunity Review Board meetings.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure strong performance and positive customer experience.
• Operate as the partner concern point for customer issues and drive a positive customer experience throughout the issue resolution process.
• Demonstrate full ownership of the sales process from enquiry to purchase order closure; provide aftersales support as needed.
• Travel up to 100 nights per year; educate customers on new technologies and industry trends.
