Job summary

Sonoco is seeking a senior strategic account leader for its Protective Packaging segment, focusing on key appliance, HVAC, electronics, and durable goods customers. You will own account strategy, growth plans, pricing coordination, and cross-functional execution with sales, operations, engineering, and product development teams.

The role requires strong relationship building across procurement, engineering and executive leadership, with up to 50% travel and remote Midwest location.

Qualifications

• A 4-year college degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic account plans across assigned sites.
• Lead cross-functional execution of account plans with plant, regional sales, operations, engineering, quality, finance, product development and division leadership teams.
• Monitor trends and provide regular updates to management on accounts.
