Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of claims or insurance experience.
• Familiarity with industry claim systems and practices.
• Proficient in MS Excel (macros, pivots and formulas).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated leadership.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Review complex claims and/or situations and make informed decisions that may require judgment.
• Respond to internal and external claim or reporting inquiries from managers, brokers, general agents, and administrators.
• Provide direction, develop, train, and mentor less experienced claims staff, including audits and feedback.
• Manage claim suspense accounts for accurate processing and reporting.
• Manage mid-policy period and year end audit.
• Assist in developing and implementing process improvements.
• Participate in department and company projects and initiatives.
• Stop Loss Claims Systems Testing.
• Other duties as assigned.
