Job summary

Symetra is seeking a STD Case Manager to make timely, accurate disability claim decisions and communicate findings clearly to claimants, employers, and internal teams. You will gather data from clinical, vocational, employer, and financial sources, analyze against contracts, and document decisions in the claim system, while maintaining compliance and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of STD claims experience preferred.
• Knowledge of STD, SDI, and Absence management products.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Maintain a superior level of genuine caring and empathetic customer service.
