Eliassen Group is seeking a Manager of Statutory Insurance Accounting for a remote, contract engagement. This hands-on role leads state regulatory compliance and statutory filings across multiple insurance entities, ensuring timely Bluebook reporting and regulatory adherence.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of insurance accounting, deep knowledge of statutory accounting, and hands-on experience with Sovos Wings and SAP. W2 benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401k matching.

Formación

• 7+ years of insurance accounting experience with a strong focus on statutory accounting (Bluebook reporting).
• Hands-on experience with Sovos Wings
• Experience preparing and managing state insurance regulatory filings and sundry filings
• Strong knowledge of insurance regulatory compliance requirements
• Ability to independently manage filing calendars, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple entities and jurisdictions
• Excellent communication, documentation, and process improvement skills
• Experience with SAP preferred

Responsabilidades

• Lead and execute state regulatory compliance and sundry filing activities across multiple insurance entities.
• Own and manage the filing calendar, ensuring all regulatory deadlines are met.
• Prepare, review, and submit state insurance regulatory filings and related documentation.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather supporting information required for filings.
• Investigate and resolve filing issues, regulator inquiries, and follow-up requests.
• Monitor compliance requirements across various jurisdictions and ensure adherence to applicable regulations.
• Provide hands-on statutory accounting support to the Insurance Accounting team.
• Document key processes and controls to support knowledge transfer and operational continuity.
