Eliassen Group is seeking an experienced Manager, Statutory Insurance Accounting to lead state regulatory compliance across multiple insurance entities on a 6-month remote contract. The role requires deep statutory accounting expertise, hands-on experience with Sovos Wings, and the ability to manage filing calendars and deadlines with minimal supervision.

Formación

• 7+ years of insurance accounting experience with a strong focus on statutory accounting (Bluebook reporting).
• Hands-on experience with Sovos Wings.
• Experience preparing and managing state insurance regulatory filings and sundry filings.
• Strong knowledge of insurance regulatory compliance requirements.
• Ability to independently manage filing calendars, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and process improvement skills.
• Experience with SAP preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead state regulatory compliance and sundry filing activities across multiple insurance entities.
• Own and manage the filing calendar, ensuring regulatory deadlines are met.
• Prepare, review, and submit state insurance regulatory filings and related documentation.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather supporting information required for filings.
• Investigate and resolve filing issues, regulator inquiries, and follow-up requests.
• Monitor compliance requirements across various jurisdictions and ensure adherence to applicable regulations.
• Provide hands-on statutory accounting support to the Insurance Accounting team.
• Document key processes and controls to support knowledge transfer and operational continuity.
