Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience preparing state and local tax returns and supporting recurring tax compliance processes.
• Experience responding to state tax notices and maintaining organized supporting documentation and workpapers.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to manage responsibilities independently with follow-through.
• Knowledge of SALT fundamentals including income tax, sales/use tax, nexus, and indirect tax concepts.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and supporting recurring state tax compliance processes.
• Assisting with quarterly tax provision support and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
• Responding to state tax notices and gathering supporting audit documentation.
• Supporting operational tax processes including business license filings and annual reports.
• Conducting tax research and developing understanding of telecommunications taxes.
