GoTo is seeking a State Tax Senior Analyst for a remote, part-time role (~24 hours/week). You’ll handle state income tax compliance, quarterly tax provision support, and respond to state tax notices within a collaborative tax team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience preparing state and local tax returns and supporting recurring tax compliance processes.
• Experience responding to state tax notices and maintaining organized documentation and workpapers.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to manage responsibilities independently with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and supporting recurring state tax compliance processes (state income tax returns, payments, schedules, and workpapers).
• Assisting with quarterly tax provision support and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
• Responding to state tax notices and gathering supporting documentation.
• Supporting operational tax processes including business license filings, annual reports, and sales tax exemption tracking.
