GoTo is seeking a State Tax Senior Analyst for a part-time, remote US role (~24 hours per week). You’ll handle state income tax returns, tax provision support, notices, and operating tax filings while maintaining audit-ready documentation. Strong Excel skills and SALT knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience preparing state and local tax returns and supporting recurring tax compliance processes.
• Experience responding to state tax notices and maintaining organized documentation.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail; able to work independently.
• Knowledge of SALT concepts; ability to research tax conclusions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support recurring state tax compliance, including returns, payments, schedules and workpapers.
• Assist with quarterly tax provision support and audit-ready documentation.
• Respond to state tax notices and gather supporting documentation.
• Support operational tax processes including filings, annual reports, and license tracking.
• Conduct tax research and summarize findings; learn telecommunications taxes and related requirements.
