Job summary

GoTo is seeking a State Tax Senior Analyst to join our Accounting & Finance team in a part-time role (~24 hours per week). This position is remote within the United States, offering flexibility while contributing to state and local tax compliance and related processes.

You will prepare state tax returns, support quarterly tax provision, respond to notices, and help with licenses, annual reports, and information requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience preparing state and local tax returns and recurring tax compliance.
• Experience responding to state tax notices and maintaining organized documentation.
• Strong Excel skills and detail orientation; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support recurring state tax compliance processes.
• Assist with quarterly tax provision support and maintain audit-ready workpapers.
• Respond to state tax notices and coordinate with internal teams.
• Support operational tax processes including business licenses and annual reports.
• Conduct tax research and summarize findings for the team.
