Job summary

TLNT Bridge Recruiting is helping a client in Canada hire a Staff Software Developer for a fully remote role. You will own the full development lifecycle, design scalable backend services with Node.js, and drive platform integrations across web and mobile platforms.

You will collaborate with product teams, leverage AI tools to accelerate delivery, and mentor engineers while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise with TypeScript and modern JavaScript ecosystems.
• Experience designing and building scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Experience with GraphQL is preferred.
• Proven ability to build complex web applications using React and/or React Native.

Responsibilities

• Own the Full Development Lifecycle: design, architect, build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable features across web and mobile platforms.
• Drive Platform Integrations: build infrastructure, tools, and processes that accelerate onboarding of new customers.
• Partner with Product and Business Teams: collaborate with stakeholders to align engineering with business goals.
• Support Customer-Facing Engineering Initiatives: work with customers and partners to deliver integrations.
• Leverage AI to Improve Engineering Velocity: apply LLMs and AI tools to speed up development and improve quality.
• Champion Engineering Excellence: improve reliability, observability, and performance, mentoring other engineers.
