Job summary

RemoteJobsOne is hiring a Software Engineer, Internal Platforms for a fully remote, US-based role. The position focuses on owning core internal platform systems end-to-end, building and improving internal tools, services, and AI-driven infrastructure at scale.

You will own both backend services and frontend interfaces, work with TypeScript, Node.js (NestJS a plus), React, and PostgreSQL, and collaborate with product and design teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience building production fullstack systems (internships, projects, or professional).
• Strong TypeScript fundamentals across frontend and/or backend.
• Familiarity with backend development using Node.js (NestJS is a plus).
• Experience building user interfaces with React or similar frameworks.
• Understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and core data modeling principles.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and development of end-to-end fullstack systems powering internal workflows.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs with clear contracts.
• Develop frontend interfaces used by internal teams.
• Optimize data models and queries for performance.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and design to translate requirements into scalable systems.
• Improve platform reliability, observability, and developer experience.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.
