Midnite is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to evolve backend and platform systems as we scale and launch in Canada. You will work across core services, defining boundaries, interfaces, and data flows while collaborating with the global Platform group.

This role emphasizes independent delivery, strong Python backend capabilities, and deep knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and reliability. Remote with Canada focus, global collaboration, and a high-ownership culture.

Competenze

• Senior-level backend or platform engineering experience.
• Ability to deliver complex technical projects independently.
• Strong Python backend capability or an equivalent language.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and scalability.
• Experience with microservices and service boundaries.
• Excellent written communication across time zones.
• Ability to work across app-layer systems and infrastructure.
