Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Staff NetSuite Engineer to lead design, configuration, and optimization of NetSuite for General Ledger, R2R, and O2C processes. You will architect scalable integrations with upstream/downstream systems and develop SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and RESTlets to automate finance workflows.

The role collaborates with Finance, Tax, Treasury, and RevOps to ensure SOX and GAAP compliance, improve close cycles, and deliver accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in NetSuite development focusing on GL and accounting modules.
• Strong knowledge of OTC and R2R processes including journals and close cycle.
• Proficiency in SuiteScript 1.0/2.0, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, REST APIs.
• SOX compliance experience.
• US GAAP understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead NetSuite design, configuration, and customization for R2R and accounting.
• Architect scalable NetSuite solutions with upstream and downstream systems.
• Develop and maintain SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, RESTlets to support automation and integrations.
• Partner with Finance to translate policies into system-enforced controls.
• Ensure SOX compliance through role-based security and audit trails.
• Build reporting frameworks and dashboards for accurate financial reporting.
